We are an Australian couple, recently retired from medical practice, who are planning to buy a 45 – 50 foot yacht and spend European summers cruising in the Mediterranean. We currently own a Beneteau First 35 which we race up to three times a week on Sydney Harbour.

Our other passion is Opera, particularly the works of Richard Wagner, and in 2013, the bicentenary of his birth, we are booked to attend four separate cycles of Der Ring des Nibelungen.

The name Clarkesailing is carefully chosen, if things are going well it is “Clarke Sailing” however, if they are not it will be “Clarkes Ailing”.

We look forward to welcoming friends on our floating home when the perfect boat has been found.
